National Crime Victimization Survey

The DOJ released its findings from the 2008 National Crime Victimization Survey.

Their Motor Vehicle Theft data includes victimization rates by race, income, number of people in the home, time of day, activity and a variety of other factors.

Fatality & Injury Mapping

The Foundation for Automotive Safety and Trends (F.A.S.T.) has updated its fatality and injury map using spatial analysis provided by Julie Wartell of The Analysis Group (julie.wartell@att.net) and Kevin Highland (kevinhighland@gmail.com). Illegal street racing, stunting and drifting fatalities and injuries continues to grow. By mapping these incidents it has given municipalities the data they need to take preventative actions.
